More and more tarot deck creators are creating “trailers” promoting their tarot decks and posting them to YouTube. Here’s a couple. Let me know about ones you like and I’ll post more.

Has Ciro Marchetti done any of these? I think is ‘Tarot of Dreams’ is awesome (it is on my ‘wish list’), and would greatly enjoy seeing some of his wonderful work promoted like this.
Blessings,

(laughs)… I see you HAVE one of Ciro’s trailers up there. I guess I got enthusiastic and carried away. Again!

I just bought Ciro’s latest superb deck “Legacy of the Divine Tarot” – and treated myself to the whole package. I’d attach the jpg of the framed 24″ x 24″ reading canvas but I don’t think I can do that from here. Mary – shall I send it to you? The book (not the usual ‘meanings of cards’ book, but a ‘fantasy story of how the deck came to be) is a real work of art – you want to stroke it all the way through!). See his web site for lots of more pretty pics.
Yes, Mary – more of these videos, please, although I must stop buying decks – must have 8 or 9 by now – 3 of them Ciro’s (I suspect though I’ve a long way to go, though, to beat the record!!!
WIshing you all a happy Spring from here in Dalgety Bay, Scotland.

Hello Mrs Greer.
I wanted to tell you that I think that you are absolutely the best teacher in the world! I feel like a litlle girl that discovered something that is beyond words, and I am so excited ~ I purchased “Tarot For Yourself”, and it is one of the greatest gifts that I could of given myself. Cartomancy and tea readings have been in my matrearchal lineage for a while now, but I have always been afraid of it for some unknown reason. Lately, I have had several oppurtunities to aquaint myseld with the latter, but your exercise book goes beyond the Tarot, it reaches our mystical and psychic selves as well ~
Thank You So Much!

Rainbow and Sheila –
Yes, Ciro has certainly taken tarot to the next level and set the bar pretty darn high for tarot videos!
Carla –
I’m so glad Tarot for Your Self has worked for you. I appreciate your kind words (blush!). I don’t read tea leaves myself (just can’t see anything in those little brown bits). Isn’t it funny how some things speak to us and others don’t? And, isn’t it great to feel part of a family lineage of giving readings? I only recently discovered that my Great-Grandmother read playing cards (knew she was the town psychic, though).

Corrine Kenner’s video that promotes her Wizards deck is a very nice one if you haven’t seen it. :O)

Thank you for including The Fairy Tale Tarot. Though it’s not flashy, it was my hope to capture a sort of narrative flow through the major arcana (within my technical limitations). I really wanted to place emphasis squarely on the artwork and hope that it translates okay through video medium. And for The Fairy Tale Tarot, I felt simpler was better. It was a bit of an experiment/learning experience and frankly fun to execute!
Thank you again, Mary. I really enjoy reading your blog.
Oh, and I too recommend Corrine’s Wizards deck video.

Lisa and Helen –
Thanks for telling me about The Wizards Tarot video. I also saw that Joanna Powell Colbert has a video for her incredible Gaian Tarot deck. Keep the referrals coming.
Lisa, I love your video. It is a gentle and harmonious as the deck.

Interestingly, I may not like the Deviant Moon Tarot promo video as much, but I want the cards so badly! I like the Wizards Tarot’s video, haha. I wonder if I should get the deck, too.
