I loved this btw, and my grand-daughter did as well. I had to replay it about 4 times for her.
The setting is what struck me at first, as well as the time period. I visited, in a dream recently, this time period and I was on a ship. The picture reflected in the mirror made me feel as if I were looking at this scene on an old Luxury Liner. I can smell the cigar smoke wafting through the air, and can hear a band playing, even-though I cant see them.
This lovely lady is quite a seductress. Her cards tell the story. She shows him the Ace of Cups, the 3 of Swords, and the 7 of Pentacles. (translated into Tarot). She tells him his fortune and of a new romance, where he can heal her broken heart, at least for as long as his money holds out, or they reach their destination. (ooops)
It really is a lovely painting though.

As for the other two videos, I vote for Smoke and Mirrors.

I like “The 5th” much better than the other one.

I liked the 5th most.
But I also like the clash of time and style between the music and the painting in the Smoke & Mirrors version. It is a bit shocking.

Lovely! I would love to have my cards read by a vampy lady witha cheetah skin slung over her chair. Hmm that or I’d love to be a vampy lady reading cards… maybe with a living docile cheetah nearby.
Is “telling his fortune” the name of that painting I was hunting for it in google images.

I believe the painting is called “His Fortune” and that it’s from 1902 but I don’t know the name of the artist. If anyone can help with that I’d really appreciate it.
