Music Video with RWS deck. Anyone care to explain how the reading relates to the storyline? (Thanks to John McBride.)

The video is about a love triangle depicted by the 3 of Swords. The video begins with a woman placing Tarot cards onto a table then a camera shot of the last row of cards ending with the 2 of Swords and to the left The Lovers. The singer is caught up in a never-ending cycle of watching his lover with another man, then getting back together with her but then the other lover comes around…
Upon awakening, was it all a dream or a hangover?

m2 –
Thanks for the explanation. I guess I sort of got that but wasn’t sure if there was more. I guess that’s all you need for a music video. Interesting how all one needs anymore to “set the stage” and reveal the story line is a couple of tarot cards.

The follies of a fool’s journeys.
“All the world’s a stage,
And all the men and women merely players;
They have their exits and their entrances,
And one man in his time plays many parts”
(Shakespeare, As You Like It Act 2, scene 7, 139–143)

It’s been fun watching these! Thanks for posting them. Roseanne Cash’s “The Wheel” is my hands-down favorite.
I have another to add to your list: Toby Lightman’s 2006 video for “Devils and Angels”. There’s an entire Thoth deck pinned up on a bedroom wall. You can first see it at 1:52. It seems to be used mainly for set dressing, rather than as part of the video’s story.
