This PPT talk and presentation is now available as an online recording or a DVD. It’s excellent for those who are wondering what all the excitement is about regarding the Lenormand cards. Additionally, it goes into the surprising history and origins of the deck. It demonstrates several ways of reading the cards, with an exciting example of how a Grand Tableau spread saved me from a major travel disaster that would have cost thousands of dollars and no end of troubles. *Looks like we missed it… I can’t find my deck. Do you have it? How did you like my new one? *

My friend Walter, who is a much more accomplished visual artist than I, will be collaborating with me over the next few months to create the images for a deck of Tarot cards. I have a vision for the direction of the suited cards, and am giving him free reign with the trumps, subject to a little help based on the traditional interpretations as I have them through various sources. We would greatly appreciate your guidance, Mrs. Greer, through any books or videos of yours we can purchase. I’m very selective about the teachers I use to influence this work, as I don’t want it muddled by cross-purposes and ideosyncracies. Walter and I want to create something that will aid mystics as well as ordinary persons in unlocking their subconscious intuitive powers for generations to come. We also have it in mind to make our deck highly playable as a game or series of games, to serve as a pastime and an educational tool. Any thoughts from your readers would be most welcome.

My most extensive meanings for the cards, both upright and reversed, are found in my book The Complete Book of Tarot Reversals. 21 Ways to Read a Tarot Card contains my material on the tarot symbols, numbers, colors and suits. I hope these works are helpful to you.

The Grand Tableau story was amazing, how precise the cards were in predicting the document problem.! I’ve been avoiding the GT and using a simpler spread I learned during a Melissa Hill webinar. Now I need to go back and work with the tableau again.

Yes, I really recommend getting to know the Grand Tableau. While it normally takes an hour or more to read, you can do really quick readings with it if you have a very specific question and concentrate on just reading the cards surrounding those that are most closely related to that question.
